Councillor Javed declared a personal/non prejudicial interest in relation to Agenda Item No. 4 Review of Alcohol Services further to being employed by Tees, Esk and Wear Valley NHS.

Members had gathered all of the evidence that they required for their review of Alcohol Services and prior to today's meeting had been supplied with a matrix of information received. The purpose of this meeting was to draft Members conclusions and recommendations.

Members debated and agreed a set of draft conclusions and recommendations that the Scrutiny Officer would include within the final report and circulate to Members for final comments prior to their next meeting on 28th November 2007.

At the next meeting on 28th November, Members would be receiving a monitoring report on the Review of NHS Dentistry and would be finalising recommendations for their Review of Alcohol Services. A presentation would also be received from the North East Ambulance Service on the Contact Centre Consultation to which all Members of the Council would be invited.

The Committee would also be receiving at a future meeting a presentation from Carole Langrick on 'Momentum' and an update on LINks.
