1188Necessary amendments to the Membership of the Local Development Framework had been identified that required approval by the Council.
1189The Forward Plans for the periods 1st February 2007 to 31st May 2007 and 1st March 2007 to 30th June 2007 had previously been circulated to Members. The Forward Plan for the period 1st April 2007 to 31st July 2007 was due to be published on or before 16th March 2007. The Leader of the Council reported on significant decisions which the Cabinet was proposing to take over the coming months.
1191The following motion under the suspension of Council Procedure Rules was moved by Councillor Johnson and seconded by Councillor Cherrett:-

"This Council celebrates the Slave Trade Act passed on 25th March 1807. Furthermore, Council applauds the decision of HM Government to sign the European Convention Against Trafficking which is a form of modern slavery. Stockton Borough Council will do all in its power, in accordance with the terms of the Convention, to support any victims of such trafficking who seek help in our Borough."

The motion was carried.
