APPEAL AGAINST DISMISSAL ON THE GROUNDS OF REDUNDANCY
RESOLVED that:-

1. The appeal against the decision to dismiss on the grounds of redundancy be dismissed;

2. A further 3 months notice was to be given to ensure that all appropriate steps were made to find redeployment in accordance with the Council`s redeployment policy and procedure.

RESOLVED that under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

K.S. was in attendance to state her case and was represented by Mr McDade and Mr Woodmass, Unison representatives.

The Chairman introduced the Panel Members and the Management representatives to the Appellant.

The Management representatives were then invited to present their case which was supported by documentation previously circulated to the Panel and the Appellant. Questions of the management representatives were invited from the Appellant and her representatives, and elected Members of the Panel.

The Appellant and her representative then outlined the reasons for her appeal. Questions of the Appellant were invited from the management representatives and Members of the Panel.
