RESOLVED that:

1. The appeal against the decision to dismiss on the grounds of capability/health be deferred to a future meeting;
2. A further Occupational Health report was to be obtained;
3. In the circumstances the Appellant's notice period be extended to 30th November 2011.

RESOLVED that under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972 the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involved the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.

J.F. was in attendance to state her case and was represented by her Unison representative.

The Chairman introduced the Panel Members to the Parties present.

The Management representatives were then invited to present their case, which was supported by documentation previously circulated to the Panel and the Appellant. Witnesses JA and DR were called. Questions of the management representatives and witnesses were invited from the Appellant, her representative and elected Members of the Panel.

The Appellant and her representative then outlined the reasons for her appeal. Questions of the Appellant were invited from the management representatives and Members of the Panel.
