CONCLUDED that the draft minutes from the meeting held 16th October 2006 be forwarded to Council for consideration.
870 REVIEW OF IMPLEMENTATION OF WASTES MANAGEMENT REVIEW RECOMMENDATIONS
CONCLUDED that:-

1. The update on the Wastes Management Review recommendations be noted.

2. Members be updated again in six months time.
871 REVIEW OF STREET LIGHTING - FINAL REPORT
CONCLUDED that the Review of Street Lighting be forwarded to Cabinet for consideration.
872 REVIEW OF CEMETERIES AND MEMORIALS
CONCLUDED that the Scope and Project Plan be agreed.

869Consideration was given to the content of the draft minutes from the meeting held on 16th October 2006.
870Members were presented with a report on the Review of Implementation of Wastes Management Review Recommendations.

Members were given the opportunity to ask questions of the Head of Direct Services, the Care for Your Area Service Manager and the Cabinet Member for Environment.

Members were happy with the progress that had been made against each of the recommendations and it was agreed that Members should be updated again in six months time.
871Members were presented with the Review of Street Lighting report prior to it's submission to Cabinet.

Members made some minor changes to the report and it was agreed that the report be forwarded to Cabinet for consideration.
872Members were presented Review of Cemeteries and Memorials Scope and Project Plan.

Members were given the opportunity to ask questions and make comments on the Scope and Project Plan.

The Head of Performance and Business Services (DNS) and The Registration and Bereavement Manager were in attendance to help answer any questions.

It was agreed that if Members had any further questions or comments on the Scope and Project Plan that they be forwarded to the Scrutiny Officer.
