THE FUTURE DEVELOPMENT OF CEMETERIES - ACTION PLAN
CONCLUDED that:-

1. The Cemeteries and Memorials - Phase 1 - The Future Development of Cemeteries Draft Action Plan be agreed.

2. The report on progress be given to the Select Committee in December 2007.

REVIEW OF CEMETERIES AND MEMORIALS - THE MANAGEMENT OF MEMORIALS - SCOPE AND PROJECT PLAN
CONCLUDED that the Scope and Project Plan for the Review of Cemeteries and Memorials - The Management of Memorials be agreed.

Members were presented with the Cemeteries and Memorials - Phase 1 - The Future Development of Cemeteries Draft Action Plan.

S Daniels (Head of Performance and Business Services), J Robins (Registration/Bereavement Services Manager) and J Trainer (Scrutiny Team Leader) detailed the proposed actions/progress and success measures in respect of the Committee's review recommendations.

Members were given the opportunity to make comments and ask questions on the Draft Action Plan.

Discussions took place on when the Select Committee should receive a report on progress. Members agreed that the report on progress would be given to the Select Committee in December 2007.

J Trainer (Scrutiny Officer) outlined the key points within the Scope and Project Plan.

Members were given the opportunity to make comments and ask any questions on the Scope and Project Plan.
