Members were presented with the final draft report of the Scrutiny Review of the Neighbourhood Enforcement Service.

It was discussed and suggested that the service should continue at no less than it is at the moment, fulfilling its present role. In addition, the importance of securing mainstream funding, due to the uncertainty of receiving funds from the NRF, was discussed. It was requested that the Scrutiny Officer incorporate these comments into 1.5 of the report.

Members requested that the Scrutiny Officer include in the final report feedback comments from the members that attended patrol attachment with enforcement officers.

The Chair thanked members and officers for their hard work on the review.
