Members were informed that no response from the Unions or the North East Ambulance had been received. Therefore, today's meeting would be to discuss the evidence received so far and for Members to consider their draft response regarding the Momentum consultation documents and questionnaire.

The final meeting for evidence gathering would be held on 4th August, Neil Schneider, Mike Robinson and Peter Scott (Director of Regeneration and Planning Services, Hartlepool Borough Council) would be in attendance. Members of the Momentum Team would also be attending to answer any further queries.

Members looked through the consultation documents and highlighted a number of points that they would wish to be included within their response to the Momentum Team.

Members discussed the information received at the Summit meetings and requested that a copy of this be distributed to other Members of the Committee.

Members were concerned at the lack of clarity on the services that would be provided in the future within the Integrated Care Centres and in the new hospital. Members from North Yorkshire County Council were concerned about the effects on the Northallerton Friarage Hospital and James Cook.

Discussion was also held on the possible sites and it was felt that a greater choice should have been provided. Members requested that further information be provided on the site selection by the Momentum Team at the next meeting.

Councillor Blackie had noticed that a question within the consultation document had not been included within the actual questionnaire, and would raise this with the Momentum Team at the next meeting.

Members also had concerns regarding the wellbeing of employees especially those who were lower wage earners and the effects on those who would have to travel to the new hospital site who may not have their own transport.
