Members received a report that provided information about Cleveland Divert - a custody diversion scheme for adult offenders.

Discussion:

- members noted that, during assessment, if any issues relating to Domestic Abuse came to light appropriate signposting would be made to specialist services. Links with Operation Encompass and the Children's Hub were also in place.

- It was agreed that it would be beneficial for this report to be presented to the Adults Health and Wellbeing Partnership. It was suggested that the Commissioner's Office make contact with the Mental Health Crisis Concordat with a view to delivering a presentation to that forum.

- Members asked that an update be provided at an appropriate point.

The Group was provided with a draft SEND Joint Commissioning Strategy.

Members were reminded that the Group had provided comments on earlier drafts of the Strategy.

Members approved the draft strategy presented at the meeting and agreed it was easy to understand and got the key points across very well.

It was noted that the draft strategy would be presented to the Health and Wellbeing Board in June and it was suggested that it also be reported to the Council's Cabinet.

The Strategy would also be presented to the CCG's Executive, for approval.
