The Committee considered possible options for the Task and Finish EIT Review of Highway Services. It was proposed that a revenue saving of 500k would be achieved with the options which were put forward to the Committee. These included a reduction in budgets for scheduled and structural maintenance. Members had reservations regarding with the recommendations which were proposed due to the potential impact on service delivery.
