Consideration was given to the minutes of the meeting held on 11th November 2013.

Members received information surrounding the newly introduced framework for the Council Plan 2014-17. Members also received a draft toolkit that would link in with the Council Plan and would include a borough profile along with individual ward profiles that would provide useful information for both Members and officers. The toolkit would also sit behind the Cabinet Report Templates to prompt officers to consider the information when producing Cabinet Reports.

The Committee was mindful that the toolkit needed to be clear and easy to use to enable officers to make best use of the information within it. Consideration also needed to be given to where the information was sourced to make sure it was the most up to date and accurate it could be.
