Consideration was given to the Scrutiny Work Programme.

The School Parking Review had been yet to be assigned a Committee. Members debated the relative merits of assigning oversight to either the Crime and Disorder Select Committee and the Place Select Committee.

Members discussed current issues, including those surrounding inappropriate parking, road traffic regulations and enforcement, and agreed that it would be more appropriate for School Parking to be reviewed by the Crime and Disorder Select Committee.

Chair of the Place Select Committee, Cllr Nigel Cook, offered to liaise with the Crime and Disorder Committee regarding cross-cutting issues relating to the School Parking Review. Members agreed with this proposal.
