Members requested a copy of the criteria used when applying for No Cold Calling Zones. Frankie Russell (Trading Standards) explained that he had an idea to have calendars made to go in the information packs with Home Safety messages on, it was noted that prices be sought and discussed at the next meeting.

Members were updated that plans for Falls Day were still being put in place. The Chair was still trying to find some reasonably priced LED push on lights, Frankie Russell was also going to look into this. The Chair has found some Falls related coaster design which could be printed to also give away at later events, Members agreed this was a good idea and be looked into.

The Secretary had nothing to report.

The Children's Centre Officer informed the Association that the Safe at Home Scheme was now working as they wanted it to with the equipment being installed within the 20 days 90% of the time. It was noted that they were getting more calls from the affluent areas. It was asked if statistics on the number of accidents at home could be provided.

The Trading Standards Officer informed the Association of some bogus builders who were trying to charge large amounts of money for work. Tests were going to be carried out on a range of barbeques to make sure they were safe.
