Mr Russell informed the Association that there were 61 No Cold Calling Zones and 3314 information packs had been delivered since the beginning of the scheme. There were 6 applications waiting to be assessed. Mr Russell's contract was due to end in December 2011 and applications after this date might not be considered. There had been problems in a particular area with Scottish Power knocking on a door in a No Cold Calling Zone, this was being looked into.

Members were reminded that it was Fall Awareness Day on 22nd June 2011 and the Chair would be there along with lots of organisations.

The Children's Centre Officer was not present.

The Trading Standards Officer explained that a complaint had been received about a drill due to the users hair getting caught in the drill, this was being looked into and would be brought back to the Association when more details were known.

The Fire Officer informed Members that in the last three months they had carried out 600 home safety visits. There had been three accidental dwelling fires and 3 major fires on commercial sites.

Members were provided with a financial update. It looked as though no money had been given to the Association for the current year but Members would be provided with further information at the next meeting.
