Consideration was given to the minutes of the meetings held on 18th October 2011.

Members considered a request for Ann Cains to join the Association.

Members were informed that there was currently 78 No Cold Calling Zones, 9 Doorstep Awareness Zones, 21 applications since April 2011 and a total of 4000 information packs had been delivered.

The Children's Centre Officer informed Members that officers had been notified of the review of the service area and the Children's Centre Manager post had been deleted but the Home Safety service would still continue. It was unknown whether there would be the resource for someone to attend Stockton Home Safety Association but this was to be discussed. Requests for home safety equipment had dipped as always close to Christmas.

Dave Sanders informed Members that shed break ins and anti-social behaviour was a problem across the whole of the borough and there was still an increase in cycle thefts. Staff were conducting the usual patrols around shopping areas during the Christmas period.

The Trading Standards Officer informed Members that the adults Halloween mask which was reported at the last meeting had failed tests and they were waiting for the test certificate to be sent from the company. Tests had been done for underage gambling and 2 shops had allowed 2 teenagers to gamble.
