The Secretary informed Members that the Town Hall was unavailable on the date which members had agreed to hold the falls day event. A room in the George Hardwick Foundation would be available and the Chair would view the room to see if it was suitable for the event. Members agreed if the Chair was happy with the room that it could be booked.

The Trading Standards Officer informed the Association that it may prove difficult having an officer available for Falls Day. He also informed Members that there were approximately 80 No Cold Calling Zones and still some door stickers left should anyone require any. Recently a test purchase exercise had taken place but there were no sales. Two complaints had been received, one regarding the safety of glass in a summer house which wasn't safety glass. The other complaint received was in relation to children's hats with animal figures and the eyes stuck on the hats easily coming off.

New legislation required supermarkets not to display cigarettes although they were still on sale in the shop. This would be be a requirement of all shops in 2015.
