Consideration was given to the minutes of the meeting held on 10th April 2012.

Member discussed arrangements for the Falls Day which was due to take place on 20th June 2012. Three posters were provided for the Association to provide comments. The Mayor would attend the event between 1pm and 2pm. A prize draw would take place for people who completed an evaluation, the prize would be a 25 Marks and Spencer voucher which the Home Safety Association would pay for.

Members received an update regarding the No Cold Calling Zones which had run out of funding earlier in the year. There was 78 No Cold Calling Zones, 9 Doorstep Crime Watch Zones and 4110 information packs handed out. Members asked whether the No cold Calling Zones could be funded through the community participation budgets, Dave Kitching would be invited to a future meeting to discuss the future of No Cold Calling Zones.

The Association were informed that a teddy bear had been recalled due to leaking batteries. Also a complaint had been received regarding a child that had bitten a chunk out of the foam bar of a pushchair. The child should have been strapped in properly but the pushchair provider said they would make changes to it.
