Falls day had taken place on 20th June 2012. As the Town Hall was unavailable this year it was held in George Hardwick Foundation. The venue didn't work very well for this event and the need for the Town Hall at future Falls Day events was crucial. The Town Hall had been booked for next years event.

The Trading Standards officer informed Members that they were currently reviewing the different schemes they had in place which included No Cold Calling Zones, Good Garage Scheme and Healthy School Scheme. Although the No Cold Calling Zones scheme had finished if an area was put forward it would be looked into but may need to score higher to be become a zone.

Dave Sanders reported that lead thefts were increasing although there had been a success on clamping down where they can scrap them. There had also been an increase in domestic violence during the Euro 2012 football tournament but this had been expected and more patrol and extra cars were on duty.
