Consideration was given to the minutes of the meeting held on 6th November 2012.

National Consumer Week had concentrated on cold calling and there had been a request for 8 enquiries for new No Cold Calling Zones.

The Police Officer informed the association that crime overall was down but there had been an increase in the number of assaults which year on year is up by 1. There had been problems with shed break ins. The Police officer reminded Members that in the Christmas period don't leave valuables on show in cars and homes.

The Fire Officers reported that bonfire night was very successful and without any major issues. The Winter Warmth campaign was still running and was very successful.

The Children's Centre Officer informed the Association that there had been 379 adults requested safety equipment from the Home Safety Scheme and 352 visits had been made from April 2012 to date. Funding had been received to work with family's regards burns and scolds.
