Consideration was given to the draft minutes of the meeting held on 23 February 2016.

Members were provided with an update from the Trading Standards Officer in attendance of the meeting:

- With regard to No Cold Calling Zones, it was noted that work was on-going. It was highlighted that it may have been possible to circulate further No Cold Calling stickers to those households in the existing zones.

- Members were informed of a recent issue relating to labels on Bibs purchased from Mothercare. It was noted that the Local Authority awaited a response from Mothercare.

- It was highlighted that the Screening Lab within Trading Standards no longer existed due to financial cuts within the service area.

Members of the Association raised concerns relating to Floating Paper Lanterns. An Animal Health Officer from Animal Welfare attended the meeting to discuss issues with Members.

Members discussed arrangements for the Stockton Home Safety Association Event due to be held on Wednesday 8th June 2016.
