Consideration was given to the minutes of the meeting held on 25th April 2017.

Following the tragic events at Grenfell Tower members discussed the safety of high rise flats in the borough.

The Association was informed that a Scrutiny Review Task and Finish of High Rise Flats was due to start on Thursday 29th June 2017.

The Fire Officer was not present.

The association received an update from the children's officer. The main information included:-
- There was a temporary 18.5hrs post to help with administration duties and delivery of items.
- Review of children's centres was likely to happen around October time.
- Child safety week was 5th June and visits were made to children's centres.

Members discussed having a Home Safety Event in September and agreed 13th September would be the best date. It would take place 10am-2pm in Stockton Town Centre.
