Cosnideration was given to the minutes of the meeting held on 27th February 2018.

Members agreed to add the below at agenda item 7 'The Home Safety Event achieved help for someone dealing with fraud.'

The Association discussed possible campaign topics that it could get invovled in promoting and the following were pub forward:-
- Poisonings linking with RoSPA take action today put them away.
- Chinese lanters and balloons.
- Warm Homes later in the year.
- No Cold Calling Zones.
- Sun Safety

The Chair requested that any further suggestion be emailed to her.

The Association was informed that it had 1500 to spend this financial year.

The Chair updated on a meeting that was held regarding setting up a website for the Association. It was explained that the Association would have to pay for a website domain and it would have to be set up, managed and updated by somebody involved in the Asosication not by the Council's Communications team. Members felt that this needed to be discussed further to see if it could be set up and managed by the Council's Communications team.

The Children's Centre Officer was not present.

The Trading Standards Officer provided the following update:-
- The team had recently had training in Newcastle on product recalls.
- Freezer with plastic back that Which had tested unsafe but was technically safe therefore stayed on the Market.
