The minutes of the meeting held on 6th November 2012 were signed by the Chair as a correct record.

Consideration was given to the draft minutes of the meeting held on 27th November 2012.

Cllr Rose (Cabinet Member for Environment) thanked the Committee and officers for the good work done on the energy review.

Consideration was given to the draft report for the Review of Energy Supply.

Members considered each recommendation individually and upon some changes, agreed the final report.

Members were advised that the Chair of Executive Scrutiny had requested topics for future scrutiny reviews.

The following topics were discussed:

-Private Rental Accommodation/Change of legislation for people having to move/Regulations for Private Landlords
-Safety on level crossings
-Targeting of funding for most vulnerable areas in the Borough

It was observed that Corporate and Social Inclusion Select Committee would be undertaking a Scrutiny Review on the Welfare Reform but other topics were requested. The Chair observed that topics put forward by Corporate and Social Inclusion Select Committee could be reviewed by another Committee.
